OYA X-travaganza at YPS lawns

 by Punjabnewswire4u (Balbir)
MOHALI, DEC 25
The Old Yadavindrians Annual Reunion started with the prize distribution of the 3rd OYA JK tyre Auto Moto Cross.  This event has become an annual affair with rallyists coming from all over the country.  The bonhomie and camaraderie in the students was a sight to see.
Students across batches from the most recent pass outs to the students from the earliest batches spent an excellent evening reminiscencing about the school.  A lot of the faculty, old and new, was also in attendance and seen remembering school days.
According to one member, it is because you make the best friendships in school and it is with your old schoolmates that you can just be yourself without any pretensions.
The cold winter might was warmed by a huge bonfire which was the initial centre of attraction.  Then the spectacular, Western Dance Group, took every ones breath away. This was followed by the DJ who set the dance floor afire.  In spite of a parallel Dholi keeping another bunch at bay, people had to jostle for a place on the dance floor.
This was also the 25th year of passing out of the batch of 1986.  This batch was honoured by the Association as has been the tradition.  The batch saw the highest attendance amongst the senior batches with people traveling from all over the country and overseas especially for the occasion.  The batch held its own reunion the previous night at The Taj and managed to trace quite a few of the faculty as well.
