Desh Bhagat College of Education organised a 25-day summer training camp under the patronage of college Principal Dr. Surjeet Patheja. The students were given intensive training in spoken English, painting, dancing, singing, flower making, computer training, sports and personality development. Thirtyfive students participated in the camp.
Speaking at the valedictory function, Desh Bhagat Group of Institute, chairman Dr. Zora Singh asserted that Desh Bhagat Group was committed to spread of education and for this purpose, it is organizing free coaching classes, training campus and career counselling seminars etc. Wishing the students who had attended the camp a bright future, Dr. Singh said that children are the foundation of the nation and it is our sacred duty to work for their development.
Desh Bhagat College of Education Principal Dr. Surjeet Patheja welcomed the guests present on the occasion. She said that such camps will be organised every year and efforts will be made to include maximum number of children in these camps. The aim of these camps will be to develop the various skills among the participants to prepare them for their future careers. The participants of the camp were taken to historical places namely Aam Khas Bagh and the holy gurudwaras.
