AMRITSAR, MAY 2
The 'Gurpurab’ of fifth Sikh master Guru Arjun Dev was celebrated at historic Khalsa College’s Gurdwara amidst religious devotion and fervour. The students from Khalsa College Public School (KCPS) recited Gurbani and an Ardas (prayer) was performed, remembering Guru’s message of sacrifice and righteous living. Khalsa College Governing Council joint secretary Sukdev Singh Abdal bestowed `Siropas’ (robe of honour) upon students performing `kirtan’ and asked the people to follow the path shown by the great Gurus.
College’s Professor Inderjit Singh Gagoani narrated the life history and the message of the Guru and how he sacrificed his life for the right cause. KCGC office bearers including SS Mannan , SS Principal Dr.Daljit Singh, Principal Sukhbir Kaur Mahal, Principal Dr Sarvjit Kaur Brar , DK Sandhu, Gurinderjit Kamboj, Dr. Amarpal Singh, and others were present during the religious celebration.
