Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh would organize Scholarship Mela on July 24 at Shivalik View in Sector 17 here. Giving this information to press, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group said that scholarship worth Rs 1 Crore would be distributed on the spot to the needy students on Merit-cum-Means basis . Students need to get prior registeration on Helpline Number 84270-22288 to attend this Scholarship Mela.
Dr. Kataria further said that Scholarships would be extended to around 101 students for MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA and B.Tech(Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE) courses. He added that those students who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees, can avail the benefit of the scholarship. The candidates must bring their academic and income documents.The scholarship amount would be between Rs.10000 to Rs.300000 per student.
It is to be mentioned that the leading Nationalized Banks including Indian Overseas Bank and Bank of India would also remain available during the Scholarship Mela to provide the education loan support to the students.
Dr.Kataria further said that the group is inspired by Dr.Kiran Bedi, India’s first and highest ranked woman IPS officer and at the UN and her Navjyoti India Foundation and is inspiring all the students of India to pursue higher Education. He added that students would be funded for Education with the help of Corporates, NGOs and other organisations so that they can pursue technical education which is out of reach of common-man.
