Punjab Mandi Board has decided to regularize the services of 626 workcharge employees, who have been working on daily wage basis since many years.
Disclosing this here today Agriculture Minister Sucha Singh Langah said that the employees who have been regularized included supervisors, helpers, plumbers, electricians, sewadar and chowkidars. He said that many of these employees had been working on daily wage basis in the department since 25 years.
He said that the employees were demanding their regularization since long. He said that the Department sympathetically considered their demand and decided to regularize their services.
