MOHALI, SEPT 10
Shivalik Public School, Phase 6, Mohali annexed trophy in Group 1 in the Bharat Vikas Parishad organised ‘Inter School Patriotic Group Song Competition’ at Golden Bells Public School in Sector-77, here today. Mohali Public School, Phase 10 emerged champions in Group 2.
A large nber of schools participated in the competition. Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Director, Metronics Industries, Mohali was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of the schools and of their talented students.
Songs were sung by the students on the theme of national integration, unity, pride and peace which made them feel patriotic. The motto of the function is to keep the ‘National Spirit Alive’.
Prizes were given by the chief guest to the winning teams. The winning teams will further participate in 'State Level Patriotic Group Song Competition'.
School Chairman Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) addressed and thanked Bharat Vikas Parishad for organising such an inspiring competition.
