A cultural extravaganza including songs, dances, theatrical presentations and poetry recital marked the Hostel Night function at local Khalsa College late last night. A turban and poetry competitions were also organized during the function. Vikramjit Singh stood first, Kanwarpal Singh stood second and Manpreet Singh stood third in the turban competition.
College Principal, Dr. Daljit Singh recalled his own days during the hostel and said that the memories and teachings during the hostel life remain one of the most cherished moments of ones life. He gave mementos to the outgoing students of the hostels. A theatre and dance programme by Thomas Gill, Aman Chabra, Manphul Singh, Lav Bhullar, Gurpreet Singh, Gazaldeep Singh was appreciated. Stage was managed by Gurwinder Singh. Hostel Wardens including Davinder Singh, HB Singh and Gurbax Singh were present.
