An `Air Show’ depicting attractive air aerobatics was today organized at historic Khalsa College campus by College’s NCC Air Wing. The cadets under supervision of Indian Air Force instructors displayed a unique show through various model aircrafts including Excite-46, Power and Glider, showing aerobatics of Wing Over, Loops, Rolls, Rolling of the Top and Making of Figure 8.
The chief guest at the occasion second Punjab Air SQN Wing Commander BK Remala said the aim of the show was to promote NCC Enrollment and Awareness campaign and celebrate College’s recent achievements in air aerobatics at national level. College Principal Dr.Daljit Singh said their student Ranjodh Singh Virk recently earned accolades at national level for grand air show and was awarded medals. He said the students are attracted to the IAF through such programs.
Meanwhile the tiny helicopters and gliders exhibited the rare glimpses of aero-dynamics with the College’s picturesque building in the background. Principal Daljit said the students get attracted to IAF, which is one of the best professional Air Forces of the world and how they could opt it as a fascinating career and serve the nation. Other present during the show included IAF Instructor Upinder Singh Aulakh, NCC Care Taker GS Malhi, teachers and students.
