Joint Director Press Dr. Megha Singh was given a warm send off here today by the employees of the Information and Public Relations Department on his retirement. It may be recalled that Dr. Megha Singh
has sought voluntary retirement as he has been tipped for the post Assistant Editor in Punjabi Tribune.
Speaking on the occasion, Director, Information and Public Relations Mr. D.S. Mangat recalled the outstanding services rendered by Dr. Megha Singh during a span of nearly 25 years as a golden period in the
history of Public Relations. He said Dr. Megha Singh's contribution in strengthening the Public Relations Department would be ever remembered by one and all and would also be a source of inspiration for the
budding PR men.
He said Dr. Megha Singh was a hard core professional committed to the ethics of PR through out his career and always enjoyed cordial relations with media. Mr. Mangat wished Dr. Megha Singh a bright and prosperous future during his new assignment, which he is likely to take up tomorrow.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Additional Director (Administration) Mr. Gurwaryam Singh besides the senior officers and employees of the department.
