The three-day Fourth Senior Punjab Ball Badminton Championship
(2011-12) (boys and girls) will be flagged off tomorrow at Khalsa College
Senior Secondary School. More than 22 teams of boys and 18 teams of girls from
all over the state will be participating in the championship, said School
Principal, Nimral Singh Bhangu, adding that the championship will be flagged
off by SP Headquarter (Amritsar Rural) Jagdeep Singh in the presence of Khalsa
College Governing Council, Honorary Secretary, S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina.
Organising Secretary Principal Balwinder Singh and Ball Badminton
Association Vice-President, Sarabjit Singh jointly said that the game of ball
badminton is gaining popularity not only in Punjab but whole of country lately.
