Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh today stressed on the need to impart of
moral education to the students along with conventional dissemination of
knowledge. He said it is the `education that makes the man a complete human
being’ and without knowledge a man is nothing but merely physical body that
gains no respect or appreciation from the world around him or her.
He
was addressing the `Sangat’ during `Ardas Diwas’ at historic Khalsa College
Campus here today. Jathedar said the society is infested with evils and social
values are diminishing. He also expressed concern over the rising drugs
addiction and asked the youth to beware of the vicious cycle of drugs that has
taken the society into its grip. Golden Temple head granthi Giani Jaswinder
Singh was also present.

Charanjit Singh Chadha, honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and
Principal Dr.Daljit Singh honoured Jathedar on the occasion, Majithia said the
