With a view to create awareness among students regarding protection of environment and saving energy, the `Earth day’ was today celebrated at Khalsa College Public School (KCPS). The students were sensitized about the concept of celebrating Earth Day, that gives the message that we must work together to save our planet.
Principal Dr. Saravjit Brar addressed the students and asked them to conserve environment and energy for the future generations. She asked the students to switch off all lights and electrical devices for an hour on the scheduled day & time. All the students took pledge to observe Earth Hour for Mother Earth and to say no to the use of plastic to create healthy environment.
