AMRITSAR, MARCH 20The students of Khalsa College for Women (KCW) have bagged top university positions in various examinations. Tanveer Kaur of PGDFS-I sem bagged the first position in the university with 79% marks. Nidhi Thakur of B.com (R)-I sem secured the 2nd position in varsity by scoring 81% marks. Satinder Kaur of B.com(R)-III sem secured the 4th position in GNDU and 1st position in Amritsar District by scoring 76% marks.
Another student Iqbal Kaur of M.Sc (IT)-III sem also secured 4th position in GNDU and 1st in Amritsar district with 74% marks respectively. Kirandeep Kaur of B.Com(P)-III sem also scored the merit position.
KCW Principal Dr.Sukhbir Kaur Mahal while congratulating the toppers said out of 41 students who appeared for M.Com I sem exams, 21 students got distinction by securing more than 70% marks. She appreciated the hard work and dedication. Dr. Suman Nayyar, HOD PG Department of Commerce and Management and Manjit Singh Gill, HOD, PG Department of Computer Science also appreciated and encouraged the students.
