Bhaddal Centre for
Training & Skill Development (CTSD) Mohali organized valedictory function
on the occasion of successful completion of 1st batch of training,
at CII Convention Centre here. This centre is an initiative of IET Bhaddal
Technical Campus having prime focus on ‘Earn while Learn’ for students.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Dr.
M.P.Poonia Director,NITTTR, Chandigarh expressed that there is a acute requirement
to fill the gap between industry and academia. He said establishment of CTSD will create an avenue culture where each
student has an opportunity to excel and is encouraged to realize their vision. This
initiative will impart students in employability skills that cater to industry
and technological needs.
Key note speaker Mr Ivmeet Singh, cyber
forensic expert from Malaysia, said that IT sector plays successful roll to
control the crime. Dr. S. P. Singh Ex. VC, GNDU and Advisor Academics, Bhaddal
Institutes expressed that CTSD is a progressive and student friendly initiative
which will impart students in employability skills that cater to industry &
technological needs with a well-intended objective to eliminate disconnect
between pure theoretical concepts taught in colleges.

Bhaddal Campus welcomed the Guests and said that CTSD is to integrate industry
relevant skill set and a sustainable platform to hone the skills of each individual
student needs to grow. He prompted that Students will be ready to face the
outer world with great enthusiasm while working on live projects.
Chief guest Dr.Poonia also
distributed certificates to 57 students who have successfully completed the
training program in Secure Web Development and Java by M/s Vee Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Harksh
Technologies. Dr. J. S. Kanwar, Director SoET Bhaddal Institutes proposed the
vote of thanks.
