Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) student and budding theatre
artist Mandeep Singh has brought laurels for the institute as he has been selected for the prestigious
National School of Drama (NSD). It is for the second consecutive year that
KCA student has got entry into the national institute which is considered the
Mecca of the art. KCA Principal Dr.Daljit Singh felicitated mandeep for his
success and
wished him luck for future. Dr.Singh said Mandeep started his journey into the art world from the stage of the college and he was part of the college Bhangra team that won first position in the national Youth Festival recently.

Mandeep who was happy over the success said he wanted to
prove his mettle in the acting and would always remain attached with the theatre.
He has already
worked with the top theatre artists including MK Raina, Neelam Mann Singh,
Dr.Mahendra Kumar and Rani Balbir Kaur. He thanked his teachers including
Prof.Devender Singh, Dr.Surjit Kaur.
