The coaching classes for competitive examinations including IAS, PCS (CSAT), UGC-NET and other competitive examinations will comment at Khalsa College from April 1. The registration for the same is open and the aspirants can apply to appear in an interview following which first batch for preliminary exam of top competitive exams will undergo specialized coaching under expert teachers from college and resource persons from outside, said College Principal Dr. Mehal Singh.
He said classes will be for all the college students and outsiders as well and any graduate student can opt the course which will culminate in June. ``The coaching will cover the entire general studies and CSAT syllabus. There are limited seats. The admission will be on first cum first serve basis’’, said Principal. He added that two coordinators including Dr.JS Gandhi from Chemistry Department and Prof. SS Manto from English Department had been appointed for the program.
