Cyclists of Khalsa College, Amritsar, emerged champions in the Inter-College Track Cycling Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University Campus. The College team bagged 16 points in total and bagged the first position while GNDU Campus team finished runners-up with 12 points. Layalpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar were third position with 7 points, according to KCA Principal Dr. Mehal Singh.
While congratulating the team for the performance, he stated that College team in total bagged 10 medals (5 gold, 2 bronze and 3 silver). In the individual events Bajrang Delu was first in 4 km track cycling race, Anil Mangloo got second position in the 1 km race.
In the 1500 meters event, Lavish, Bajrang Delu, Anil Mangloo and Sumit bagged the gold medals. Principal and the management of the College congratulated the winners and the physical education department, headed by Dr. Daljit Singh, for the achievement.
