7500 students appeared in MET-2011 in Punjab

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 19
Management Entrance Test (MET) a state level entrance test for admissions to MBA & MCA course was held today. There were around 12 centers all over Chandigarh & Punjab. Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges today distributed 6000 examination kits to the MET aspirants. The examination kits comprising of Black gel pen and sweets were distributed with the objective to convey best wishes to the candidates and to provide necessary stationery items.
Commenting on MET, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Business School (ABS) said that overall the exam was easy, But the business aptitude part was little tough. Where as reasoning part was comparatively easy.The result of the test will be declared on or before 28 June.

The test was conducted by GNDU, Amritsar this time. Through MET, candidates can seek admission in all universities of Punjab including PTU, Jalandhar, GNDU, Amritsar, Punjabi University, Patiala and its affiliated colleges.
UIET, PU, Chandigarh and Govt. College, Mohali were the main centers, where around 1000 candidates appeared. In Punjab Patiala, Sangrur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Bathinda, Faridkot, Gurdaspur etc. were the other centers.
