Dr Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal is new PSEB chairman

            Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave nod for the appointment of Dr Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal as the chairperson of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB).
            Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the file to this regard was cleared by the Chief Minister, this morning.
            It may be recalled that Dr Dhaliwal who was currently the Principal of Guru Nanak College for Girls, Sri Muktsar Sahib has a vast experience in educational and administrative field. A Ph.D in Home Science Extension Education, Dr Dhaliwal started her career as an Assistant Professor at Home Science College, Kaoni and also worked as Associate Professor Krishi Vigyan Kender Faridkot before being elevated as the Principal of Guru Nanak College for Girls in 2002. 
She also has the distinction of being Officiating Deputy Director of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Faridkot for a year besides being member of important Committees of Panjab University including that of Senate and Syndicate. 
A voracious reader and prolific writer Dr Dhaliwal has also authored three books besides publishing souvenirs and a number of articles in reputed journals. Associated with a number of NGOs she was also bestowed upon Young Home Scientist Award in Biennial Conference of Indian Home Science Association. Likewise, Dr Dhaliwal was also awarded a certificate of distinction by Indian Non Government Organization Association for working in IPPI Program.
