CHANDIGARH, SEPT 18
The Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today appointed the noted
journalist Mr. Harjinder Sidhu as Assistant Media Advisor to the Deputy Chief
Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said
that Mr. Badal cleared the file to this effect this morning.
It may be recalled that Mr. Sidhu has been working with Hindustan Times as
Principal Correspondent at Bathinda since September, 2000. He initiated his
journalistic career as sub-editor with Punjab daily ‘Nawan Zamana’ in 1997.
Besides, he also served as a correspondent with The Tribune at Muktsar and
Bathinda from 1998 to 2000.
