Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today said that the Finance Minister Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal has personally clarified to him saying, his recent statement in a section of the press was nothing against the SAD-BJP government. Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal also apprised the Chief Minister that he holds the party and its discipline along with the government in the highest esteem.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that he had accepted the version of Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal and he had not breached the party discipline as such.
Mr. Badal appealed to all the party leaders not to issue any statements in the media on this issue and he would sort out the issue, if any, amicably soon after being discharged from the PGI, where he is admitted now.
