Golden Bells celebrate Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated with all joys and cheers throughout the week in Golden Bells Public School, Sector 77 here. The children participated with full enthusiasm in the programme.
Number of competitions were held on this occasion. Students displayed their emotions through dance, Bhangra, paintings. They wrote slogans and poems on Independence Day. They participated in debate competition and collage making. This is how they gave tribute to martyrs.
Students of Kindergarten sections assumed the role of true patriots like Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rani of Jhansi and also Smt. Indira Gandhi. They fascinated everybody’s heart.
Prizes were distributed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders.
In the end, Director of the school, Mrs. Gurjit Bawa gave warm wishes to children and she advised them to walk on the footsteps of patriots and freedom fighters who were responsible for getting us independece.
She further said that we should do our duties and become ideal citizens.
