Golden Bells celebrate Children's Day

MOHALI, NOV 14
The students of Golden Bells Public School, Sector-77, Mohali celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and exuberance. The teachers and students delivered inspiring speeches to encourage children to follow teachings of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
Tiny tots inspired everyone by dressing themselves up in the attire of Chacha Nehru and enjoyed different fun games.
The students of all the classes from class 1st – 12th participated whole heartedly in different kinds of fun races like frog race, bag packing race, back race, lemon spoon race, relay race, sack race, one leg race, hurdle race etc. and bagged prizes. A quiz was organised for the students of class 8th-10th on the
life of Chacha Nehru.
Not only this, boys of class 9th & 10th had a gala time playing football match.
All the spectators were cheering for their favourite teams. Boys of class 8th- 10th played Ball Badminton. There was a competition between the students of class 10+1 & 10+2 with class 10th for Tug of War.
At the end, Chairman of the school, Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) gave away prizes to the winners. He encouraged the students to become responsible citizens as wished by Chacha Nehru and to follow the path shown by him. Free refreshment was given to the children by management and staff.
