Christmas celebrations at Golden Bells

Christmas celebrations rocked the ground of Golden Bells Public School in Sector 77,
Mohali. The whole school resembled with the festivity of Christmas.
The day started with the Morning Prayer and a speech on the essence of Christmas
i.e. the birth of Lord Jesus Magis, angles and shepherds.
Later in the day, there was an air of jubilation when the whole school gathered
to enjoy the melodious Christmas carols performed by the angles of the school.
The children rejoiced by seeing the various Santas, who kept moving them and
throwing sweets.
To leash out the creative spirit of students, a tree decoration competition was
organised. Housewise students participated in that. A play was performed by the
students of classes 7th, 8th and 9th which highlighted the importance of
Christmas and message behind the festival i.e. generosity, sacrifice and
jubilations.
Chairman of the school Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) lauded the efforts put in by the
students and told them to imbibe the Christmas spirit and messages in their daily
lives also. He wished all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
