CM lauds contribution of religious organisations

          Lauding the role played by the religious organizations in the overall development of the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today said that due to this important contribution Punjab has emerged as a frontrunner state in the country.
          Addressing the gathering during a religious congregation here at Dham on the birth anniversary of Sri Satguru Lal Dass Ji Maharaj Bhuri Wale today, the Chief Minister said that Punjab was land of great Gurus, Saints and Seers who had propagated the message of communal harmony, love and brotherhood in the every nook and corner of the world. He said that it was a matter of great pride for them that the religious organizations have not only played a pivotal role in the spiritual development of the people but they have also been instrumental in the social service of the masses.
          Lauding Vedant Acharya Swami Sri Chetna Nand Ji Bhuriwale the present Chief of the Dham, the Chief Minister said that under his dynamic leadership the religious organization was playing a key role in disseminating education to the youth of the area. Recalling his long association with the organization, Mr. Badal also announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh as a humble contribution of the state government for the valuable educational services rendered by the organization.
          On the occasion the gathering was also addressed by Vedant Acharya Swami Sri Chetna Nand Ji Bhuriwale.
          The Chief Minister was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Mr. Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon, Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Chaudhary Nand Lal and Mr. NK Sharma, Lok Sabha MP Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra and MLA Mr. Manpreet Singh Aiyaali.
