Aryans students shine in cultural extravaganza "Rajni"

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 19
Aryans Group of Colleges today organized Cultural Extravaganza “RAJNI” at Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector -16, Chandigarh. Sh. Naval Gupta, Zonal Manager, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) inaugurated the function. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.
Students of MBA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA & B.Ed students presented Bhangra, Giddha, Naati, Kashmiri dance, Hip Hop, Comedy Dance, Haryanwi Dance, Melody Dance Fusion, Kashmiri Song, Retro Classical Dance, Bubbly Dance, Dhinka-Chika & Modeling.
The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest followed by Saraswati Vandana. In his inaugural speech, Sh. Gupta said that such events are necessary in the professional institutions as they instill confidence and sense of responsibility in the students. Academics and Cultural activities always go side by side. Cultural activities play important role in order to reduce the stress of the students, he added.
Usha & Group performed Haryanwi Dance while Avneet & Group presented Kashmiri dance. Retro Classical Dance was presented by Harpreet & Group. The Beautiful “Naati” of Kullu under the leadership of Kshitiz and group enthralled the audience. The audience was on their toes during the Punjabi dance “Sab toh Sohna Bhangra” under the leadership of Gurvinder where as Neetika & Group Presented “Beautiful Giddha”. Kshitiz and group also presented an energetic Hip-Hop dance and “Fusion” by Faayz & others brought the audience to their toes.

Mangla, Dr.D.P.Singh, Dr. Manjula Kataria and many others.
