Declamation contest on Ozone layer at Golden Bells

MOHALI, SEPT 28

Environment Protection Society, SAS Nagar, today organised declamation contest on depleting effects of ozone layer in Golden Bells Public School, Sector-77, Mohali.
Indian Foreign Service Ambassador (Retd.) and Founder President of the society
Sh. S. R. Chaudhari was the chief guest on the occasion. Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.)
presided over the function.
Teams from different schools took part in this declamation contest. The topic was the “Ozone layer is depleting. Let us join hands to protect it”. All children spoke very well on the topic. They expressed their views on this alarming situation which is going to affect whole world very soon.
Tree saplings of medicinal values and fruits were planted by Environment Protection Society in the school premises.

2.Banmeet Kaur – Class – X (Gem Public School)
3.Jyotmeen Kaur – Class – XII (Golden Bells Public School)
The running trophy was awarded to Golden Bells Public School.
In the end, Col. C.S. Bawa, Chairman, Golden Bells Public School, thanked
Sh. R. S. Chaudhari and eminent judges of Environment Protection Society and also
congratulated winner teams.
