Computer Science & Engineering Department win

 The Computer Science & Engineering Department won the overall Championship trophy of Inter-Departmental Cultural Competitions Programme "JASHAN 2012" of the Guru Nanak Dev University Campus. Architecture Department declared first runners-up and Department of Commerce and Business Management
was second runners-up in this competition. These competitions concluded here today in the Dasmesh Auditorium of the University.
       Dr. (Mrs.) Saravjit Kaur Brar, Lady Vice-Chancellor presided over the valedictory function and give away trophies to the winners. Dr. P.K. Sehajpal, Dean Students Welfare presented vote of thanks. More than
500 students-artists from the various departments of the University participated in these competitions.
Dr. (Mrs.) Brar congratulated the winners of 'Jashan 2012' and said that students should keep participating in cultural activities along with their formal studies to excel in their life. Dr. P.K. Sehajpal honored Dr. (Mrs.) Brar with memento on this occasion.
 On the last day Creative Group Dance, Quiz, Dance to tune and Gidha competitions were held.
