KCET students win Best Project Award

 AMRITSAR, NOV 12
 The students of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET) brought laurels to the institution by winning Best Project Award-2015 from Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). Principal Dr. Amarpal Singh said that their students Amandeep Atri, Shehnaz, Sukhwinder Kaur and Rasleen Singh bagged first position for project tilted “ Matlab Based GUI for Digital Image Watermarking”.
 He said the project was prepared under the supervision of Sanjeev Kumar, HOD, department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He said the College won second position in their project in ‘Designing and Analysis of Pulse Jet Engine’ under Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engg. category.  This project was prepared by Divyanshu Aggarwal, Kawalpreet Singh, Sarang Bawa, Akshay Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Sandeep Singh and Hartej Saroop Singh under the able guidance of Er. Harpuneet Singh, Er. Amit Mahajan and Er. Sandeep Devgan of the Mechanical Engineering faculty.
 These students received their awards at ISTE Students’ Section Convention- Punjab Chapter held at Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Railmajra, Near Ropar, recently. Dr. Amarpal Singh congratulated students and faculty for this glorious achievement and appreciated their innovative and creative ideas in modern technology.
