The national unity day was observed at Khalsa College, Khalsa College of Education, Khalsa College for Women, Khalsa Colleeg Chawinda Devi and other educational institutions. After taking the blessings of almighty by the recitation of the college shabad by the students, volunteers of the NSS unit of the colleges and the schools, staff members and students the took pledge for maintain unity and integrity of the nation.
Principal Dr.Mehal Singh, Dr.JSDhillon, Dr.Sukhbir Kaur Mahal, Dr.HB Singh and others sensitized the students for competing with the challenges of national unity in this age of globalization. Thereafter, a cultural programme was presented by the college students. .
