expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former MP Mr.
Charanjeet Singh Walia (78), who passed away at Patiala this afternoon after a
protracted illness.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Mr.
Walia as a gentle politician, who always played a proactive role in
safeguarding the interests of the employees. His outstanding services as an
employee leader would ever be remembered by employees’ fraternity.
Sharing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved
family, friends and relatives, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to
grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give courage to bear this
irreparable loss in this hour of grief.
