 MOHALI, OCT 5

Golden Bells Public School, Sector-77, Mohali celebrated  Dussehra with great vigour. A riot of colors and reverberation was all around as the virtues of celebrating festival were highlighted by the students.
Students celebrated the festival in their own unique and innovative style by making the effigy of Ravana out of the waste paper material by themselves, which added color to the festivity of the day.
The children brought alive the good and evil characters from the epic ‘Ramayana’ and thus presented a colourful fancy dress show. Not only students, teachers also equally show their enthusiasm by giving speech on various topics related to this day.
The last battle of victory over evil was dramatized between forces of Lord Ram and Ravan and after pitch battle Ravan was killed.
To control global warming, the effigy of Ravan was not set on fire.
In the end, the chairman of the school, Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) wished the children and staff members a joyous Dussehra and encouraged them to follow the path of righteousness in all walks of life.
