KCE win overall championship in GNDU Youth Festival

Khalsa College of Education has emerged as overall champion in the youth festival that concluded at Guru Dev University’s Dashmesh Auditorium late last evening. The College has won the trophy for the 11th times and it earned the distinction following its one after the another team emerging winner in the various events including song, dance, theatre, elocution, quizzes, poetry recitation, paintings, carton making and photography.
College Principal Dr.Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, an art lover himself, was elated over the college emerging as an overall champion. It is interesting to know that Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, headed by Principal Surinder Pal Kaur emerged as runner-up while DAV College of Education became third.  In total 36 colleges participated in the youth festival and Khalsa College of Education prevailed upon all the other teams participating in the event. In the total 24 items the college took part, it remained at the top in above 16 items, making it to steer ahead of all the nearer competitive teams.
``We have created a history by winning the championship trophy for the 11th times. We are winning the trophy continuously since 2003 and are happy to retain our dominance’’, said Dr. Dhillon.
