Magician Shankar to perform in Khalsa College of Education

 World famous magician, Prof. Shankar and Shankar Junior, the father-son duo, will perform their internationally-acclaimed “Magic Show” at Tagore Open Air Auditorium at Khalsa College of Education on October 15. 
 College Principal Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon said that the Shankars are world renowned magicians, who have represented the country in five international magic show conventions and have themselves organized three international conventions in India.
 He said they are happy to host their show, aimed for the recreation of students and faculty members at the college campus. Dr. Dhillon said this `executive type show’, which is usually performed for the executives and business class people around the world, after their formal meetings, contain many interactive magic tricks to the amusement of the audience.
 The interesting thing about the show is that it also seeks the participation of the audience to make them feel apart of the whole show that last for one and half hour. The ‘three four box type’ illusions and many humorous magic are some of the many interesting tricks to amuse the audience, said Dr. Dhillon adding that the show is nick-named as Gilli Gilli Magic which includes the basket of Wizardry, Parasol Galore, the Snow Storm of China, the Art of Escaping, Magic of Transportation in a Transparent Box and Mystery of the Solid Steel Rings.
