CHANDIGARH, MAY 23
The offices of Punjab Government, Boards and Corporations and also educational institutions located in Chandigarh and Mohali will remain closed for the second half of May 23 (Wednesday), to enable the government employees to participate in ‘Nagar Kirtan’, to be organized on the eve of Martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
However the offices of State, Boards, Corporations and also Education Institutions in rest of the State would remain closed for the second half of May 24 (Thursday).
A notification in this regard has been issued to all Heads of Departments and Managing Directors of Boards & Corporations, Registrar, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Commissioners of all the Divisions, Deputy Commissioners of all Districts and SDMs of all Sub-Divisions throughout the State.
