CHANDIGARH, MAY 2:
Punjab has started special initiative to
revamp the educational system by incorporating the positive trends of education
system of developed countries. It was disclosed by Mr. Sikandar Singh Maluka,
Education Minister of Punjab.
In a communiqué released to the
media, he said that a high level delegation of education ministers of different
states visited United States
of America to critically examine the
education system of that country with the motive to incorporate positive trends
of American education system. He said that this visit was conducted under the
directives of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Department of Higher Education.
Mr. Maluka further added that the
news appeared in some sections of the media about the foreign holidays of the
minister is totally baseless. He said that the motive behind these trips is to
study the prevalent education system and to assimilate the positive trends of
the education system of that country into our education system.
