UK students’ delegation visits Khalsa College Amritsar

 A delegation of students from various colleges and universities of United Kingdom (UK) today visited historical Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) today. The five-member-students group comprised of two girls and three boys and they were impressed by the grandeur building of the
College which is a unique piece of architecture and style.
The students said the tour was part of their trip to the holy city as though their parents had migrated from India, they were born and brought up in UK. They said they wanted to connect with the history and culture of the land of their forefathers and were happy to visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Attari Border, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Panorama and now Khalsa College. They were also accompanied by five more persons hailing from various political ideologies and affiliations.
 Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and KCA Principal Dr.Daljit Singh welcomed the students at the campus and shared important information on the education. The students said they were delighted that how apart from the routine education, the focus here is also on the moral education. Dr.Daljit took the students to the campus and apprised them about the rare architecture and history of the college.
