KCA Principal Dr. Daljit Singh said more than 600 students registered as first time voters in just last one month. ``We had instructions from the district electoral authorities for the drive and then we took the initiative to make it a big awareness drive. Even the authorities have appreciated and awarded our Professor Dr. Sukhjit Singh who was coordinator of the drive with the appreciation letter’’, said Dr. Daljit.
The students in large number vowed that they would use their right to franchise to election representatives who would work for the betterment of the people at large. ``The message is clear that everyone must go to vote.
