Gurpurab celebrated at Khalsa College with religious devotion

The 'Gurpurab’ of second Sikh master Guru Angad Dev and ninth master Guru Teg Bahadur was celebrated at historic Khalsa College’s Gurdwara with religious devotion. The students from Khalsa College International Public School (KCIPS) recited hymns from Gurbani and an Ardas (prayer) was performed.
Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina bestowed `Siropas’ (robe of honour) upon students performing `kirtan’ and gave the message of following the path of love, peace and righteousness as shown by the Gurus.
On the occasion Chhina said we can learn from the lives of the Gurus who stood for truth and right path. The KCGC office bearers including Sukhdev Singh Abdal, Ajmer Singh Heir, SS Mannan , SS Chhina , LS Dhillon, Anup Singh , Principal Jagdish Singh , Principal Dr.Daljit Singh, Principal Dr.JS Dhillon, Principal Dr.Sukhbir Kaur Mahal , Dr Sarvjit Kaur Brar , Dr JS Brar , Dr. SK Jand , Dr. Amarpal Singh , Shivdev Singh , DS Rataul were present during the religious celebration.
