CHANDIGARH, JULY 29
The Sangat Darshan for Industrialists and Entrepreneurs started by Punjab Industry Department are proving to be quiet success as in first three sangat darshans as their 90% complaints were solved on the spot in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana.
Disclosing this here today Mr. Anil Joshi, Industry and Commerce Minister, Punjab said that he has carried forward the concept of Sangat Darshan of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal to industrialist and enterprenuers and decided to organize every week in those cities, where industry was concentrated. He said that till date he has organized Sangat Darshans at Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana. The Minister said that most of the complaints he received during sangat darshans pertained to power connections, pollution certificates, upkeep of focal points etc and he was happy that he was able to solve 90% complaints at the spot.
The Minister said that Punjab was the first state to organize Sangat Darshan for the industry sector to provide single point redressal forum for solution of their problems. Mr. Joshi said that he has already issued instructions to computerize the industry department and with the starting of web portal and implementation deemed sanction, most of problems being raised by the industrialists would be solved automatically.
Reiterating the commitment of SAD-BJP Government to usher in an era of transparency in the Industry Department, Mr. Joshi said that he would be taking policy decisions to ensure 1 lakh crore investment in industry sector within next five years.
