Girls outshine boys M.Sc. Science results in KCA

 The girl students outshined the boys in the various M.Sc. (Sciences) results declared today by Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA), here today. After having been conferred autonomous status by UGC, these were the first results declared by the college. The results, said principal Dr.Daljit Singh, were announced following the rigorous conduct and fair evaluation of the examinations, well on time.
 He said in results declared, Sarita Devi stood first in semester –I of M.Sc. (Zoology), Varleen Kaur was first in Semester-III. In M.Sc.(Chemistry), Jharna Joshi stood first in Semester-I and Manroop Kaur first in semester-III. In M.Sc.(Physics) Ravneet Kaur was first in semester-I and Harjinder Kaur first in semester-III while in M.Sc. (Botany) Manjinder Kaur was first in semester-I and Megha Sharma, first in semester-III.
 Dr.Daljit said the teaching and non-teaching staff needed to be appreciated for their hard work to bring in the results on time. He said the task of evaluation was highly confidential and evaluators from outside were engaged who accomplished the difficult task well in time. He also praised the evaluators for objective and fair-marking. On the basis of these results the detail marks cards (DMCs) will be issued by the Guru Nanak Dev University to the students as per the autonomous scheme.
