Jangveer Singh appointed Media Adviser to SAD President

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today announced that noted journalist Jangveer Singh has been appointed Media Adviser to SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal.
This development took place shortly after Mr Jangveer Singh submitted his resignation as Media Adviser to the Deputy CM, Punjab to chief minister Parkash Singh Badal.
A SAD release disclosed that Mr Jangveer Singh, who is known for his two decade long reportage of the region, had been appointed as Media Adviser to the Deputy CM in the rank of minister of state in August last year.
Mr Jangveer Singh said he desired to assist the SAD President in the forthcoming parliamentary elections and had resigned from his post forthwith because of this reason. He said he would endeavour to contribute towards the success of the SAD in the elections.
Meanwhile former senior journalist of the Malwa region - Harjinder Sidhu forwarded his resignation to Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today. He was immediately appointed as Assistant Media Adviser to the SAD President.
Mr Sidhu said he would work for the success of the SAD in the parliamentary elections.
