290 units of blood donated

ThePunjab IAS Officers Association in association with all officers and employees federations today organized blood donation camp in the premises of Punjab Civil Secretariat-2, where 290 units of blood have been donated.

          Office bearers of Punjab IAS Officers Association, Punjab Civil Secretariat Staff Association, Personnel Staff Union Punjab, PSS Officers Association, Punjab Financial Commissioners Secretariat Employees Association, Class IV Govt. Employees Union FCR, Class IV Govt. Employees Union Secretariat and Class IV Govt. Employees Union donated the blood to the PGI’s Blood Bank. The PGI authorities on the spot gave certificates to the donors besides arranging special refreshments for the donors.

          President of Punjab IAS Officers Association Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal, IAS, appreciating the donors said that the association organizes the blood donation camp annually as this is a noble cause for the welfare of humanity. He said that by donating blood units several critical lives can be saved. He extended thanked to the members of association and all officers and employees federations for participating in the camp and betting at it success.
