Dhawan nominated on BJP’s National UT Working Group

CHANDIGARH, May 22
Former Union Minister and a senior  BJP leader Jarmohan Dhawan has been nominated as members of the seven- member BJP National Working Group for Union Territory Affairs.  The nomination was made by. Raj Nath Singh, National President of the BJP.
Mrs. Nezma Heptullah is ahairperson of the Working Group on Union Territories. The aix other members nominated to the Working Group include Mr. Vijay Kapoor, MP, Mr. Rajiv Pratap Ruddy MP, Mr. Harmohan Dhawan, Mr. Vishanu Pad Ray MP (Andaman Nicobar), Mr. Nattu Bahi MP (Daman Div) and Mr. Lalu Bhai MP  (Dader Nagar Haveli).  This announcement was made by Mr Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.
              Mr. Raj Nath Singh has constituted 13 groups of the party for Policy Formulation in areas of Social and National importance, including legal, economic, security, agriculture, foreign affairs, women, SC, ST, etc.  Among others, Mr. Ravi Shanker Parshad has been nominated as the Chairman of Neighbouring Countries Working Group, Mr. Yashwant Sinha as the Chairman of Economic Working Group, Mr. Jaswant Singh as Chairman of Foreign Affairs Working Group, Mrs Nezma Heptullah as Chairperson of the Working Group on Union territories and Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi as chairman of the Working Group on Minorities.
             Giving this information to the media, Mr. Davinder Aulakh said that all the workers of BJP Chandigarh are feeling honoured by the nomination of Mr. Harmohan Dhawan as the member of this high power Working Group of the party and are grateful to the party high command for that.
