PTU opens Regional Centre at KCET

Amritsar, June 11
 In a major initiative, Punjab Technical University (PTU), has opened its Regional Centre at local Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET). The Centre, said Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) honourary secretary, Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, would provide M.Tech Electronics and Computers courses. He said College which is serving the border districts’ far-flung areas for higher engineering studies, has added a yet another milestone in its journey towards achieving excellence in the filed.
 Chhina thanked PTU Vice Chancellor Dr.Rajnish Arora for the initiative and promised that the Centre would emerge as a major study centre in the region. Principal, KCET, Dr.Amarpal Singh also thanked VC Dr.Arora and said each course in the M.Tech would each have 25 seats available to the students and added that they would not leave any stone unturned to make the proposal a big success in the coming years.
