Punjab Government declares Dec 24 as holiday in schools

Chandigarh, Dec 23 
       The Punjab Government has declared holiday on December 24 in all schools in the state due to participation of Teachers and students in school national games.
          Disclosing this here today Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Education Minister, Punjab  said that the winter vacations in all govt/private/aided and recognized schools in the state would commenced from December 25 to December 31, 2012. 
The Minister also said that all schools will reopen on January 1, 2013.
