CHANDIGARH, DEC 26
The Punjab Government today released a list of 34 holidays
for 2013. The government will also observe 20 restricted holidays from which
each employee can choose two days to observe as holidays.

Banda Singh Ji Bahadur (October 16); Karva Chauth (October 22); Birthday of
Sant Nam Dev Ji (October 26); New Punjab Day (November 1); Goverdhan Pooja (November
3) Muharram (November 14) and Jor Mela Fatehgarh Sahib (December 25,26 and 27)
are restricted holidays in the Calendary, 2013.
