The Inquiry Committee of the Press
Council of India is scheduled to meet under the chairmanship of Mr.
Justice Markandey Katju at Punjab Bhawan, Sector-3, Chandigarh
on August 13, 2012 to consider 21 cases of violation of press of freedom and journalist
ethics pertaining to the region mainly of Punjab,
Uttrakhand and remaining northern States.
The proceedings would begin at
11:00 a.m and are open to the press and public to attend.
