INDIANAPOLIS: The Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis is planning a special Interfaith Prayer Service and Candlelight Vigil at the Sikh Gurdwara (Acton Road) on August 8 at 7.30 p.m  in Indianapolis in honor of the victims of Sunday’s shooting that took place at the Sikh Temple in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sikh Americans and people of all faith communities are shocked by this attack in a place of worship and by the tragic loss of innocent lives.
The event is open to the public.
The national Sikh leadership has declared Wednesday, August 8, 2012 as a National Day of Remembrance and Solidarity. The U.S. President has ordered all  flags on U.S. public buildings in America and around the world to fly at half mast in  honor of the victims.
