CHANDIGARH, JUNE 17
Mrs. Gurinder Kaur Assistant Public
Relations Officer Punjab bereaved today when his husband Sardar Balbir Singh
(48), Assistant Manager in Reserve Bank of India
Chandigarh branch died in a road accident at
Ambala last night when he was returning from New Delhi on an official duty.
He has left
behind two sons and wife. Meanwhile Punjab
Public Relations Officers' Association today held a condolence meeting here and
deeply mourned the sad demise of Sardar Balbir Singh.
According to the
president of PR Association Mr. Harjeet Singh Grewal Deputy Director, all the
members observed two minutes silence in the condolence meeting to pay tributes
to the departed soul. PR Association also expressed its heart felt sympathies
with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to give
strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the
departed soul.
Mr. Balbir Singh was cremated here today where Mrs Senu Duggal
ADPR on behalf of Public Relations Minister Mr Bikram Singh Majithia, Mr
Opinder Singh Lamba Press Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab and PR Association
president Mr. Harjeet Singh Grewal Deputy Director laid down floral tributes to
the departed soul.
